Privacy at DwellTally

When you save a room project, browser localStorage keeps it under a local project key on that device and browser profile. The saved fields include the project version, unit preference, room name, room dimensions, and empty planning collections reserved by the local data format. Nothing is uploaded by the project feature.

If localStorage is unavailable, the app uses a session-memory fallback. That temporary copy ends with the session and is not durable browser storage.

Tool sharing can encode selected inputs in a URL fragment after the # character. Browsers do not send that fragment as part of a normal page request, but anyone who receives the full shared URL can read those values. Review the link before sending it.

There are currently no accounts, no ads, and no cloud project sync. The site does not currently use a remote contact form.

DwellTally does not currently load Google Analytics or send Google Analytics event data. Basic delivery, security, and performance information may still be available through the hosting and Cloudflare services used to operate the site.

Use the clear project action to remove its saved record, or clear site data through the browser. Closing a private-browsing session may also discard local data according to browser rules. Removing a shared link does not revoke copies already sent to others.

DwellTally does not currently serve Google ads. If advertising or affiliate links are introduced, relevant pages and this policy will identify them before launch. Affiliate relationships will not change calculator results or editorial recommendations.
