Calculation details
Clearance = measured opening dimension - mapped sofa dimension. Zero counts as measured clearance, but needs an exact physical re-check.
Removable-leg height is subtracted from sofa height only, never from width or depth.
Assumptions and limitations
- This comparison tests straight orthogonal sofa profiles against one measured rectangular clear opening.
- It does not model diagonal rotation, turns or landings, door swing or hardware, trim removal, fabric compression, stairs, packaging, payload, or human handling feasibility.
- Removable-leg height reduces only the measured sofa height; width and depth stay unchanged.
